Abstract submission guidelines

Deadline: 18 April 2027 (extendable to 25 April 2027).

Submission deadline: Sunday 18 April 2027, 11:59 p.m. CET — extendable until Sunday 25 April 2027, 11:59 p.m. CET. Abstracts submitted after the final deadline cannot be considered. You may edit your abstract until the last deadline.

Guidelines for authors

Language
Abstracts must be submitted in English only. Oral presentations are given in English only.
Title
Do not use capital letters.
Authors
Author and co-authors' first names and family names (e.g. Marcus Smith). There is no limit on the number of authors.
Affiliation
Affiliation details of all authors must follow this order: Department, Institution/Hospital, City and Country.
Abstract body
Must be uploaded as a text document and is limited to 300 words (title and authors do not count).
Tables / figures
There is no possibility to attach tables or figures.
Other
Use only standard abbreviations and generic drug names. Express numbers as numerals. Abstracts do not need to be original. For the Journal Club section, please provide the DOI of the paper instead of an abstract.

Notification of acceptance

Notifications will be sent by e-mail between 13–14 May 2027. Please check your spam folder regularly if you have not received a notification.

Presentation format

The final format is determined by the Scientific Committee:

  • Short oral presentation — 12-minute presentation + 3-minute discussion (15 minutes total)
  • Poster presentation — portrait format DIN A0 (120 cm height × 85 cm wide)

Presence onsite. By submitting an abstract, authors agree — if selected for an oral or poster presentation — to register for the conference and present their work in person. Virtual presentations will not be accepted.

Book of abstracts

The book of abstracts will be made available online to all participants. Please ensure that the information in your abstract is suitable for publication.

Registration commitment

Presenting authors commit to registering for the conference. Online registration details are available on the Registration page.
